More about the Presidency

The Polish Presidency of the EU Council is not just a formal event – it is a creative process, a coming together of cultures, and an opportunity to showcase Poland as a forward-thinking and engaged member of the European community.
Between January and June 2025, audiences in more than twenty European Union and accession countries will have the chance to participate in a series of extraordinary events: concerts, exhibitions, performances, film screenings, and discussions. Each of these will be an opportunity for audiences to immerse oneself in Polish culture and forge a connection with Polish artists and creators. Throughout this programme, Polish culture is presented as a medium that brings people together and opens up a space for conversation, understanding, and the transfer of experiences. Thanks to collaborative efforts together with recognised European institutions and the involvement of acclaimed artists, the international cultural programme of the Polish Presidency will become a symbol of unity and respect for diversity.
